Matua X Bags

Last week Matua X came out from raglan to talk to us about plastic bags. We made reusable bags out of old t-shirts. He explained why plastic bags are so annoying and dangerous. Room 13 came to our class to make the bags it was really simple, he explained it really well.

Annie Production.

This Term's production went really well. A week before it was on I thought it wouldn't be ready in time, but I was wrong. It was really fun. Mrs N and all the teachers did a brilliant job at pulling it off. The props were awesome and we all did a great job. We all learnt our lines and worked very hard. The production was really fun.

Science Fair

My science fair question was: What Liquid Affects your Teeth the most? My hypothesis was: I think coca cola will affect the teeth more than the other liquids. My hypothesis was correct.

Drinking sugary drinks such as orange juice, fizzy drinks, sports drinks and alcohol are not good for your teeth because they contain sugar and acids which causes the enamel to wear away with time causing tooth decay. Drinks that contain sugar also damage your teeth by helping bacteria in your mouth to produce more acids, increasing your risk of cavities and other problems. The dark compounds in dark coloured drinks such as coca cola and powerade cause surface staining on your teeth.

Integrity Games

On Friday we had integrity games with Tawa team. In my group was Josh.W, Jay, Daniel but he was away and me. At the start we played knee padder tennis, but we figured that it was to hard for the little ones. We changed the game to line tag. I think we explained the rules pretty good. The thing that I would improve the most

T20 Tournament

My pounding heart is beating faster than a bullet shot by an ak47 and my blood rushing through my brain minimizes my strength. The sun is mimicking us. We think to ourselves about that sparkly clean icy cold water. I am salivating. The green grass is grumpy because of the heat stroke.

Pirongia Lodge Trip

Week 2 kawaka went on a lodge trip. It was better than I expected, Some parts were really fun like the rock climbing but there were some parts that were a bit babyish. My favourite part was trampoline because I learnt how to do a backflip!
